ActivePieces

ActivePieces is an open-source automation tool. Use it to connect SurveyTale survey responses to other apps, self-hosted or in the cloud.

Prerequisites

• A SurveyTale workspace with permission to manage API keys.
• An ActivePieces account or self-hosted instance.

Set up the integration

1. In SurveyTale, open Workspace Settings -> API Keys and create an API key.
2. Open the SurveyTale piece on ActivePieces: activepieces.com/pieces/surveytale.
3. Create a flow and add the SurveyTale trigger.
4. Connect your account with your SurveyTale API key. The base URL is https://app.surveytale.com.
5. Select the trigger and survey, add downstream steps, and map the fields.
6. Publish the flow.

How it works

ActivePieces runs your flow when the trigger fires. SurveyTale remains the source of truth for response data.

Notes and troubleshooting

• If the connection fails, confirm the API key is valid and the base URL is https://app.surveytale.com.
• For self-hosted ActivePieces, make sure the instance can reach https://app.surveytale.com.
