Zapier

Zapier lets you connect SurveyTale to more than 5,000 apps without writing code. When a survey response comes in, Zapier can route it to your CRM, spreadsheet, chat tool, email, and more.

Prerequisites

• A SurveyTale workspace with permission to manage API keys.
• A Zapier account.

Set up the integration

1. In SurveyTale, open Workspace Settings -> API Keys and create an API key.
2. Open the SurveyTale app on Zapier: zapier.com/apps/surveytale/integrations.
3. Create a new Zap and choose SurveyTale as the trigger app.
4. When prompted to connect your account, paste your SurveyTale API key. The base URL is https://app.surveytale.com.
5. Pick a trigger (for example, New Response) and select the survey to watch.
6. Add an action app (Google Sheets, Slack, HubSpot, etc.) and map the SurveyTale response fields to that app.
7. Turn the Zap on.

How it works

SurveyTale notifies Zapier when the trigger fires, and Zapier runs your chosen actions. SurveyTale remains the source of truth for response data.

Notes and troubleshooting

• If the connection fails, confirm the API key is valid and the base URL is https://app.surveytale.com.
• If no data flows, make sure the Zap is turned on and the selected survey is receiving responses.
